International A Cappella Festival Date: 9 - 31 October 2010 Time: 8pm Venue: Esplanade Recital Studio, The Arts House Chamber Ticketing: $35 For its 3rd year, Singapore's International A Cappella Festival will be a 2 week vocal extravaganza featuring top A Cappella groups from around the world. This year’s lineup will be highlighted by some of the best European a cappella groups such as Fool Moon from Hungary, and Vocaldente, Niniwe and Klangbezirk from Germany. Expect to be wowed by their take on classic pop songs and jazz stylings. The festival content has also been expanded to include a youth segment and a local segment. These top Singaporean groups will be presenting their music alongside the international acts. Dear Singers, would-be singers and lovers of Christmas music, AUDITION CALL for PROJECT: CHRISTMAS VOCAL JAM 2010 The A Cappella Society is looking for singers and would-be singers to form a mixed pop choir for our Christmas Vocal Jam Concert Project on the 27th of November which will be presented at the Esplanade Recital Studio in 2 settings, a matinee and an evening show. International A Cappella Festival
It's getting bigger and better! For its 3rd year, Singapore's International A Cappella Festival will continue to grow into a 2 week vocal extravaganza featuring top A Cappella groups from around the world! This year’s line up will again be highlighted by some of the best European a cappella groups, Fool Moon from Hungary and a return visit by Vocaldente from Germany with its unique style of pop a cappella. Other German groups include Niniwe und Klangbezirk for a heavy dose of Vocal Jazz. This year's Festival will return to the familiar venues at The Arts House Chamber and Esplanade Recital Studio. The Festival content has been expanded to include a youth segment with Singapore's leading youth groups and a local segment with the country's favourite groups presenting their music alongside the international groups.

Vocal Obsession IV: Chart Toppers
NUS Resonance is proud to present Vocal Obsession IV: Chart Topper!! This concert is the 4th in a biennial series of concerts entitled Vocal Obsession and will be held on 26 June 2010 (Saturday), 7.30pm at the University Cultural Centre theatre. The theme of our fourth biennale concert is “Chart Toppers”, honouring and featuring songs of the past two decades ranging from the soulful ballads and heartfelt duets, to the boy-band and girls group era that dominates radio up till today. Whatever the song, the artistes covering the selections would have been or are definitely household names. It is our pleasure to bring back familiar tunes with an infusion of a cappella style. Some of the songs we will be singing include tunes from well known artistes such as Jay Chou, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Alicia Keys and many many more!
