Formed in 1999 with the vision to be Asia’s leading all female vocal band, NANU has come full circle with a professional team of singers and musicians that will allow it to showcase the all female prowess of vocal agility and talent. From local competition The Big Break (finalists) and local functions to recording songs on 3 compilation albums to overseas performances in Jakarta and Boston at the East Coast A Cappella Summit and in 2004, Netherland’s Music Competition, NANU is one of the few local a cappella groups that has grown from strength to strength and explored performing and competing overseas. The music of nanu includes pop and R&B music in several languages including English, Mandarin, Japanese and Tagalog. The group also writes its own music and is a supporter of local song writers. The strength of the group is its staple of singers, who each brings her individual unique style and approach to music – making and solo singing capabilities. An awesome ensemble to watch out for!

Beatz
Beatz was formed in April '09 by three guys who love beatboxing/rapping, hip hop & R&B. Our current singer joined us in September '09. All of them are trained vocally and introduced to A-Cappella singing by Mrs Angelina Choo-Sassarak. Arif, known as Mr Z, is a Javanese-Chinese guy who is the resident rapper and the creative director. He is the genius behind all our remixes and originals. Christopher, known as Chrisso on stage, is Czech-Chinese. He is our music director and makes us sound good. He can make almost any sound you can think of. Samuel, aka Fallenangel, is, well, Chinese. He's our Chinaman. He is a professional beatboxer and does lots of cool things with the mic. He makes our name good. Kathy is the queen of the group, hence Queen K. She is Chinese-Javanese-Dutch and she makes us look good. She is our singer and she tries to rap. Sometimes. Beatz does roadshows and private gigs including charity concerts. Our main genre of music is Hip-Hop and R&B, but we love trying out different genres.

TAS Youth Voices
The A Cappella Society Youth Voices is a free training program for young people who share a passion for a cappella singing and performance. It serves as a training ground where talents, interests and skills are honed over a period of at least 4 - 6 years, providing singers with a rehearsal studio, workshop and performance opportunities and the best source for a cappella training in Singapore and beyond. They come with a lot of stage experience gained at multiple private and public performances all year round. Their repertoire spans from A Cappella classics like Only You, jazz and pop standards in English and Mandarin, to contemporary pop songs like Let’s Get Loud.

acappuccino
Acappuccino's sextet of youthful singers constantly crave for singing has brought each other together to perform pop numbers, jazz and even choral tunes to the enjoyment of others. Usually performing arrangements for closed harmony or choral groups, the group presents a fresh take to liven up the song. Acappuccino is Derrick Kam, Gerald Lee, Fanella Chan, Farhanah Yasit, Chan Yu Qin and Alvis Chioang.

TAS Voices
Come, hang out and jam with The A Cappella Society's adult ensemble throwing their hoops at A Cappella. This TAS group is large team of singers who hail from all walks of life but who have one common passion, which is singing without the use of musical instruments. Rehearsals are every Monday evening at our studio at TAPAC, from 7.30pm onwards.
