Tic Tac Tone

Tic-Tac-Tone launched into the Singapore a cappella scene with a bang in June 2000 when they came in Second in the nationwide Sing Singapore competition with their arrangement of Singapura Medley. Comprising five voices and a vocal percussionist, TTT likens their sound to bands and prefers to be known as a Vocal Band. They perform a wide range of music without musical instruments, spanning from contemporary pop to classic evergreens. Over the last two years, their sounds took a more definitive shape. Backed by powerful vocalists, heavy bass rhythms and impossible percussion beats, Tic Tac Tone added to their rapidly expanding repertoire to include R&B, Jazz and recently, original compositions. The style in which their music was performed became what they called Urbanised Funk.
