Happy belated Vesak Day everyone! We've just had a great performance from the Yale Spizzwinks, all of you who couldn't join us for the night, you missed something! But don't worry too much, you'll have another chance very soon, in less than 2 weeks the group's all-female counterpart, the Yale Whim 'n Rhythm, will make their stop in Singapore (diverted from Bangkok). After a short summer break everything is set for the Championships and our Festival. The first registrations from international groups have already come in promising another exciting Champs. Happy Labour Day everyone! May has 2 exciting concerts lined up for you. Youth Voices will go first with a concert of contemporary hits and classic pop songs from shows like Grease and Glee sung a cappella by the TAS Youth Voices. Later in the month The Spizzwinks (?) all the way from Yale University will showcase the best of collegiate a cappella at The Arts House. After that our events take a summer break to give us the chance to gear up for the Championships and our Festival. Our regular programmes however will continue, the courses and training programmes as well as the performances by our various groups. Hi everyone! March has a performance of TAS Youth Voices lined up, it's at the launch of the Olympic Clock counting down to the start of the Youth Olympic Games at Ang Mo Kio Central, come by on 13 March and listen! The following week we've been invited to hold a workshop at the University of Macau for groups from Macau and Shanghai, we're quite excited about it and hopefully can expand our contacts in that part of Asia to bring more international groups to Singapore. Looking ahead to April, Vocal Mania is coming with an exciting mix of groups lined up to perform at The Arts House.
