Vocal Mania Celebrate the power and beauty of the human voice with us! Join us at The Arts House for one full day exclusively dedicated to vocal music, from A Cappella, Choral or Solo singing to Musical Theater, Rock or Beatbox performances. Vocal Mania will be The A Cappella Society’s first simultaneous multi-concert fiesta with the aim of raising funds for our society as well as to enter for the Singapore Book of Records for the most number of vocal concerts held in 1 venue in 1 day. With a diverse repertoire, there will be workshops and performances from TAS groups and various local groups including choir groups. The A Cappella Society Ltd is an established charity and IPC with a strong and credible history in creating and promoting vocal music programmes in Singapore. It has provided free and ticketed programmes to all levels of audiences for over 8 years, incepting itself as a company only in 2008 after many years of establishing its very successful staple of annual programmes.

The Tufts Beelzebubs feat. SMU Voix Catch the Beelzebubs on TV as one of the competing groups in the US TV channel NBC's The Sing-Off before they go on their tour of Asia with the final stop in Singapore! The Beelzebubs are Tufts University’s oldest all-male a cappella group. Founded in 1963, the Bubs have always lived up to their motto, providing “Fun through Song” to audiences of all ages. Today, their diverse repertoire includes many contemporary tunes from all genres; everything from classic rock to more current pop and rock to R&B and rap. They pride themselves on their energetic, musically polished performances and innovative arrangements. Their recent accomplishments include performances at Fenway Park, at the U.S. Embassy in London, on Good Morning America and Late Night with David Letterman. They have sung for President Bill Clinton, President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Sen. John Kerry, and Gov. Bill Richardson, and have toured Asia, Europe and all corners of the US

A Cappella XMas Jam, 21 November 09, Esplanade Recital Studio Ring in the Christmas season with this fun and interactive programme from The A Cappella Society. In two shows, one for children, one for youth and young-at-heart, your favourite local A Cappella groups will bring the season's music closer to you. Expect to hear all your favorite carols and tunes in an intimate and informal setting. But be prepared to be active yourself and to sing along! Join NANU for an evening of feel good a cappella renditions of Christmas music! In a concert like no other a cappella concerts, this showcase will include brand new arrangements from the NANU repertoire and will have the team explore jazz scatting and jazz harmonies apart from their regular staple of pop hits. Expect to be entertained and also expect to sing along and or come up on stage to present a solo or scat sing or beat box along with the team! International A Cappella Festival 09 Singapore's 2nd International A Cappella Festival features top Asian groups from Korea, The Philippines and Japan, and all the way from The Netherlands, Rock 4. This year’s line up of top a cappella teams features a variety of musical styles with rock music from Queen, Police & Sting by Rock 4 (Netherlands), Pop & J Pop from Permanent Fish (Japan), Korean Pop and Jazz from MayTree and the golden oldies and evergreen favorites from Tux (Philippines). The festival is in its second year, following a very successful first year at the Arts House. This year’s concerts will be held in two venues including The Esplanade Recital Studio which provides state of the art technical facilities and at The Arts House Chamber which provides a landmark historical ambience to our concerts. *PROGRAMME* 14th October, Esplanade Opening Concert by Permanent Fish (Japan), feat.
