Blitz: The Christmas Album is our first attempt at cutting a CD. We are currently in the process of writing and arranging the songs for our debut album, due in early 2009. Agapella: Follow That Star (CD)
AGAPELLA is made up of fourteen young professionals, including local award-winning artist Namiko Chan-Takahashi, radio personality Stanley Leong, prize-winning poet Aaron Lee and established food consultant Christopher Tan. The 14-track album incorporates familiar Christmas carols stylistically arranged to add vocal twinkle to well-known strains. The compilation also includes the Cuban-rhythm-tempered 'De King Is Born', 'Testify to Love' and the evergreen 'I Will Follow Him' popularised by the movie, Sister Act. This collection rings of smooth jazz, dynamic pop, finger-clicking doo-wop, tight traditional harmonies and even a little bit of old-school soul.

Vocal Six: International (CD)

The Swedish a cappella group Vocal Six was formed in 1987. Over time, three of the original memnbers have left and been replaced, and since the turn of the millenium the members of the sextet have remained unchanged. In 2005 (the group) won first prize, as well as the Ward Swingle Award, at the Vokal Total competition in Graz, Austria.

m-pact: m-pact (CD)

Reading through the song list for this, m-pact's fifth CD, tells you that it is largely a collection of jazz standards, but it would be wrong to consider this recording "standard" in any way. M-pact's reputation for astonishing vocal range, sophisticated arrangements, and breath-taking rides down a highway that's never solely pop, jazz or contemporary, is irrevocably established here. Britt Quentin's "You Need to Know," and the two other original songs on the CD that he co-wrote, "I Found a Love in You" and "I Thought You Cared For Me," may not yet be standards, but have all the qualities to become so. Please don't think you can't be taken new places with the old songs because m-pact will take all its listeners where they've never been before.
