A Cappella Instructor Course

A training programme that aims to equip our teachers, singers and practitioners with the right mix of fundamentals to start and sustain your own contemporary a cappella groups or pop choirs in your schools.

This course is suitable for music teachers, choir and vocal instructors and a cappella group leaders.

Overall Targets:

To set up a training programme for instructors (in schools) and equip them with the relevant and fundamental knowledge and provide them with ideas and sheet music to kick start their own contemporary a cappella ensembles or pop choirs in their schools.

The team will spend time developing an understanding to good singing technique, blending and balance. There will be an introduction to suitable material by age group and a whole lot of singing and hands-on participation as we tackle the essential skills needed by an a cappella group.

Pop Vocals course May-June

The start of our Pop Vocals course was delayed by a week. The course will now start next week, 12 May, Thursday 7.30pm for 8 weeks until end June in our studio at 182 Cecil Street #02-07 TAPAC. The instructor is Ee Kia. Register now at http://home.a-cappella.org.sg/training/courses !

Our next Pop Vocals course will start on 10th March. Currently, the scheduled class dates are 10th March, 17th March, 24th March, 31st March, 7th April, 14th April, 21st April and 28th April. Register for the course now on our website!

Due to the holiday period, the start of the Advanced Vocals course was delayed, it will now start on 19 January. There will be no sessions of the courses during the CNY week. Therefore the start of the next Pop Vocals course is currently scheduled for 10 March.
